Smart, Innovative Thinking
LK advised on the development of the UK’s first construction sector invoice finance product back in 2005 – now a multi-million pound operation. We have since used our initiative and smart thinking on other industry aligned products for ABL’s and banks that have become operational products. We’re used to leading where others follow.
Restructuring and recovery assignments
We’ve undertaken over 6,000 construction sector restructuring and recovery cases working for a range of restructuring and advisory firms and insolvency practitioners. We are the largest player in the UK in this specialist field by some distance.
Contract debt recoveries
We’ve recovered over £500 million in contract debt for a range of stakeholders. This has entailed a tenacious approach coupled with high levels of technical industry expertise and finding solutions to achieve the best outcome for clients.
Closed funding transactions
Working for a range of banks and ABL’s we have advised on around £250 million of completed funding transactions across many different construction sub sectors – we’re proud to have facilitated such levels of liquidity to largely construction SME’s and corporates.
We have had experience in over 100 sectors which range across most sub trades within the construction, property and built environment. Chances are we have had dealings with most likely any sector where our clients have exposure.

Over 85% of our business is with clients that have been with us for ten or more years. Quite simply we retain clients because they are happy with what we deliver for them - long may that continue and we will never get complacent.
